Published its first corporate responsibility and sustainable development (RSD) since becoming a Europe-based Coca-Cola products distributor.
The Atlanta-based company was "Committed to 2020: Building a sustainable future in Europe" - download here - noted that it has reduced its overall carbon footprint of 35,600 tonnes (4 percent) from 2009, while increasing sales volume by 4 percent. The company said it spent $ 8.1 million for cold drinks and more efficient equipment installed on the doors 2800 coolers beak.
It reduced its ratio of water use by 6 percent since 2009 to 1.42 liters of water per liter of product, the report said. And thanks to a recycling infrastructure in-house facilities, the company said it had a rate of 99.5 percent of catering waste in its territories.
