Litter lining the streets of South San Francisco was analyzed by the action of basic national Clean Water, in an effort to identify the source of pollution in the bay.
Clean Water Action South San Francisco used as a site for its investigation found the fast-food restaurants and convenience stores as the main contributors to the trash.
"We found that fast-food restaurants and other stores are decisions to purchase disposable products that could be eliminated," said California Clean Water Action Director Miriam Gordon.
